Affiliated Expert, Biosafety and Biosecurity
Lora Grainger received her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Arizona in 2010, studying Human Cytomegalovirus latency. She completed a postdoctoral position at Sandia National Laboratories leading to the Senior Member of the Technical Staff position, where she established herself as an expert in biosafety and biosecurity best practices, developing curriculum, managing projects, and training 500+ biosafety professionals around the world. In 2018 she established her own company, Project Safe Lab, LLC, where she provides technical solutions for biological laboratory safety and security.
