Summary
CRDF Global is seeking subject matter experts (SMEs), from academic institutions, consulting organizations, American private security companies, and other relevant organizations to support two (2) three-day regional workshops in Nairobi, Kenya and Dakar, Senegal, tentatively planned for May 2026 (Nairobi) and September 2026 (Dakar). The events will bring together participants from public and private sectors. The workshops will provide technical training on international compliance standards, risk evaluation and mitigation, and open-source investigation tools while addressing the political and economic costs of contracting illicit or unregulated PMSCs. Building on CRDF Global’s extensive experience in Sub-Saharan Africa and leveraging local partners, this initiative seeks to protect U.S. interests by reducing partner vulnerability to malign influence, illicit financial flows, and resource exploitation by Russian and Chinese Private Military and Security Companies (PMSCs).
Scope
CRDF Global seeks subject matter experts (SMEs) with demonstrated experience in private military and security companies (PMSCs), international compliance standards, risk evaluation, and due diligence practices. The selected SMEs will support CRDF Global in the design and delivery of two three-day regional workshops in Nairobi, Kenya and Dakar, Senegal in 2026. tentatively planned for May 2026 (Nairobi) and September 2026 (Dakar).
