CyberDefenders Participants and FC Dynamo Kyiv Join Together for E-Sports Tournament

CRDF Global together with FC Dynamo Kyiv held a FC24 e-sports tournament as part of the educational reintegration CyberDefenders program at the legendary Dynamo stadium.

On June 15, 2024, participants of the CyberDefenders program had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the exciting world of football, experiencing the history and spirit of Ukraine’s legendary football club. This tournament was not only an entertaining event but also fostered team cohesion, relaxation, and strengthened team spirit. During the tournament, Oleksandr Andriyevskyi, a midfielder for the FC Dynamo Kyiv joined the participants. He greeted the program’s participants, shared his experiences, and supported the initiative of reintegrating veterans through e-sports.

The CyberDefenders program is extremely important for preparing Ukrainian veterans for new challenges in the field of cybersecurity. It helps participants acquire new knowledge and skills necessary for successful integration into civilian life and professional activities. The goal of the program is to provide veterans with high-quality education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical training.  Over the past four months, program participants have been gaining technical skills and knowledge that will help them contribute to defending Ukraine’s digital infrastructure in the future.

During the event, participants also had the opportunity to take a tour of the stadium. They learned about the club’s history at the Dynamo Stadium Museum, walked through the players’ tunnel, viewed the stadium bowl, visited the fan office and explored the gaming zone. This tour provided participants with even more inspiration and highlighted the importance of a team spirit and a history in sports life.
