CRDF Global Welcomes Duncan Thomson as Europe and Eurasia Regional Director

Arlington, VA — CRDF Global is pleased to announce Duncan Thomson as its new Regional Director of Europe and Eurasia. In this new role, Thomson will lead CRDF Global’s Ukraine office, focusing on growing operations across CRDF Global’s mission areas and building on the organization’s 25-year history in Eurasia.   
Thomson brings over 20 years of strategic leadership and business development experience in the international development sector, with a strong focus on Ukraine and the Western Balkans. Throughout his career, Thomson has excelled in establishing and designing field office teams for success and cultivating new relationships with international donors and government stakeholders. Most recently, he held several leadership positions at Chemonics International where he led market, client, and partner engagements to grow operations in Eastern Europe and the Balkans and developed strategies to diversify the company’s global health supply chain services. His previous leadership roles include managing strategic change initiatives, competitor analysis, and corporate brand positioning at Crown Agents. Thomson holds a bachelor’s degree in Russian and international relations from the University of Surrey
