CRDF Global Signs MOU with Health Care Accreditation Council in Jordan
CRDF Global is proud to announce a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to strengthening global health security and fostering partnerships with prominent healthcare organizations across the MENA region. On March 5, 2024 CRDF Global formalized its collaboration with the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The signing ceremony, held in Amman, Jordan, included CRDF Global’s Regional Director Nour Anis, and HCAC’s CEO Salma Jaouni.
HCAC is renowned for its commitment to promoting quality improvement and enhancing patient safety. Leveraging its extensive expertise, HCAC designs and implements evidence-based standards and quality improvement programs. These initiatives address various aspects such as processes, procedures, organizational performance, and human resource qualifications, ultimately enhancing the performance of healthcare organizations and individuals. Additionally, HCAC offers accreditation and certification services to health and social care institutions, builds the capacity of healthcare professionals, and supports governments in healthcare improvement efforts.
For over two decades, CRDF Global has operated at the nexus of emerging infectious disease outbreaks and health systems strengthening, working with local, national, and regional partners to prevent, detect, and respond effectively to emerging disease threats. CRDF Global’s locally-led MENA Hub, based in Amman, Jordan, uses evidence-based approaches to improve national and facility-level capabilities to address the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through innovative laboratory-based surveillance and infection prevention and control (IPC) interventions.
