CRDF Global Co-Hosts Cybersecurity Workshop with National Authority on Electronic Certification & Cyber Security
The CRDF Global team, in joint cooperation with the National Authority on Electronic Certification and Cyber Security (Autoriteti Kombëtar CESK) in the Republic of Albania, held a two-days workshop on “Best practices in cybersecurity and cyber hygiene” on February 12-13, 2024.
The participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the basic rules of cyber hygiene and increase the general and professional level of awareness of these issues. The main goals and subsequent results of the training were:
- Increasing cyberawareness of public sector employees;
- Explaining threats from remote actors and insiders and the role of the human factor;
- Demonstrating losses caused by cyberattacks;
- Detailed explanation of basic rules of cyber hygiene with practical cases.
The training is dedicated to representatives of public sector institutions in the Republic of Albania. The training took place in a hybrid format, with around 50 participants were physically present, and 350 others took part online. Together, we are taking significant steps towards building a resilient and secure cyber landscape in the Republic of Albania and beyond.
