CRDF Global Implements Cybersecurity CSIRT in Kosovo

CRDF Global’s Warsaw Office team successfully implemented the Comprehensive Cybersecurity Training and Incident Response Preparedness for Kosovo CSIRT on September 4-5, 2024, in Pristina, Kosovo. This training, supported by the U.S. Department of State, aimed to strengthen the cybersecurity capabilities of Kosovo’s public sector by bringing together 20 participants from key institutions.

Led by cybersecurity expert Besnik Limaj, the event provided a comprehensive overview of Kosovo’s cybersecurity landscape and enhanced the skills and effectiveness of CSIRT team members. The training featured innovative Tabletop Exercises (TTX) that participants found highly valuable, sparking active engagement, thoughtful discussions, and constructive feedback—all of which underscored a strong demand for future events.

The Warsaw Office team, including CRDF Global’s Polish staff, Marta Wróblewska and Natalia Czarkowska, played a crucial role in organizing and delivering this impactful training. The success of this event showcases CRDF Global’s effective efforts in strengthening cybersecurity capabilities throughout the Western Balkans region.
