On November 11-12, 2024, CRDF Global, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) and in partnership with the Center for Private Law Foundation (CPL), hosted a Training on Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Enhanced Due Diligence Techniques for Armenian UAS Industry in Yerevan, Armenia.

This workshop, led by experts from Muller Group International, equipped the participants with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively navigate export controls and sanctions compliance, safeguard against illicit transactions, maintain supply chain integrity, and promote information-sharing to uphold industry standards.

Participants left the workshop with a deeper understanding of enhanced due diligence (EDD) protocols and KYC best practices and strategies for mitigating risks specific to the UAS sector.

CRDF Global extends its sincere appreciation to all participants for their engagement and contributions throughout the workshop. The training was enriched by the active participation of both private sector leaders and representatives from key government agencies, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, and the State Revenue Committee. This diverse audience enabled productive discussions and encouraged valuable intersectoral knowledge exchange.

We look forward to building on the outcomes of this training and fostering continued collaboration to enhance compliance and risk management within Armenia’s UAS industry and beyond!
