Enhanced Partnership to Counter Cyber Threats in Ukraine

CRDF Global and the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (SSSCIP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) .
“We greatly appreciate the trust shown by our government partners and are focused on expanding cooperation to deliver a unified response to shared threats,” said Mykhailo Verych, Regional Director, CRDF Global in Ukraine. “The signing of this MoU is another step towards the development of existing projects and the implementation of new initiatives between the SSSCIP and CRDF Global in Ukraine. The interchange of knowledge and practical experience will be key to further strengthening Ukraine’s resilience in the cyber and information spheres,” he emphasized.
The document envisions deeper collaboration in the following areas:
- response to cyber threats;
- information security;
- ensuring information resilience;
- exchange of expertise.
“I am confident that our joint efforts within the framework of this MoU will deepen our partnership, and that the exchange of scientific and technical information and joint training exercises will provide valuable experience for specialists and experts from both countries,” said Oleksandr Potii, Chairman of the SSSCIP.
The document will provide for new initiatives and create additional platforms for cooperation between specialized experts from different countries for the sake of collective security.
