CRDF Global Supports Cyber Hygiene Trainings in Albania
In today’s interconnected world, vulnerabilities in one region can have far-reaching consequences. As such, cybersecurity is not just a national or regional concern, but a global one that transcends borders and requires collaboration, vigilance, and shared responsibility. Beyond this, cyber hygiene is an essential skill in today’s digital environment, and understanding best practices can make a significant difference in safeguarding personal, organizational, and national security.
CRDF Global successfully supported Comprehensive Cyber Hygiene Trainings in Gjirokastër and Berat, Albania in January 2025, cumulatively gathering 46 participants onsite and 605 online across government, industry, academic, and business sectors in Albania. The team included CRDF Global’s Zuzanna Grüner, Senior Project Officer and Conor Wade, Project Associate.
The cyber hygiene training was developed in partnership with the National Cybersecurity Authority of Albania (AKSK) and aimed at raising awareness of digital risks and improving cyber-attack protection capabilities, focusing on key techniques for protecting systems and data. Participants were also briefed on the importance of cyber hygiene in everyday life when it comes to minimizing the risks from human error.
