Cyber Fortress Event in Albania Enhances Cybersecurity Collaboration Among Experts in Balkans
CRDF Global’s Warsaw-based team successfully supported the “Cyber Fortress” cybersecurity training exercise, focused on enhancing cybersecurity and the ICT environment in the Western Balkans in Tirana, Albania on July 23-24.
This event convened 40 professionals from Albania and Kosovo, and included those involved in safeguarding critical infrastructure and sensitive information, technical staff from critical industries, banking sector personnel, IT professionals, cybersecurity experts, CISOs, CERT/CSIRT and SOC members. Training featured the “Cyber Fortress” game model, designed by the Cybersecurity Foundation of Warsaw, creating a simulated, resilient ICT environment and security system designed to train participants in effective responses to various cyber threats.
The training – supported by the U.S. Department of State and the National Authority for Cyber Security Albania (AKSK), successfully enhanced collaboration and knowledge sharing among the participants and continue to positively impact the mission of CRDF Global in Europe and the Western Balkans region at large. Many thanks to our Polish team members Zuzanna Grüner, Regional Engagement Officer and Natalia Czarkowska Travel and Logistics Coordinator for all of their efforts in organizing this successful event.
