Chief Growth Officer

Mr. Imanverdi has over 25 years of professional experience in the private and nonprofit sectors, focused primarily on international operations, business development and marketing, customer relations, and program implementation. In the past 5 years, Eldar has led CRDF Global’s efforts to enter new markets, attain growth, expand globally, and secure new business opportunities, including the Department of State, Department of Defense, CDC, as well as UK and Canada funding agencies.

In his current role, he is responsible for leading business development, new market penetration and geographic expansion strategies, cultivating new customer relationships, establishing strategic partnerships, and overseeing organizational growth. Eldar leads the development of CRDF Global’s overall new business strategy, from the identification of new business opportunities to the execution of winning proposals. Eldar previously managed and grew the CDC and NIH global health program portfolios for CRDF Global. He has also previously served as a consultant to Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), SRI International, and the Washington Advisory Group, providing higher education capacity building and grant program management training and support services. Prior to joining CRDF Global in 2003, Eldar spent six years working in management, operations, corporate sales and marketing roles for British Mediterranean Co., a multinational corporation headquartered in London with activities in over 20 countries of Eurasia and the Middle East. Mr. Imanverdi holds a Master of Science degree from George Mason University in International Business Transactions.
