Global Health Security
Today’s world populations are increasingly connected and the need for preventing the occurrence and spread of human and zoonotic diseases is a growing priority for international security. Diseases don’t just affect a person’s health. They can have devastating, long-term impacts on a community’s economy and culture. Mitigating global health threats arising from natural, accidental, and intentional sources requires a strategic, collaborative approach that includes international organizations, private stakeholders, and government resources.
CRDF Global serves on the Steering Committee for the Global Health Security Agenda Consortium (GHSAC) and actively supports the partnership of over fifty nations, international organizations, and non-governmental stakeholders to build countries’ capacity to create a world safe and secure from infectious disease threats and to elevate global health security as a national and global priority. CRDF Global joined the No More Epidemics campaign in 2017 and partners with campaign members to close critical gaps in our defenses against infectious diseases by investing in health systems worldwide. CRDF Global collaborates with numerous national, international and individual subject matter experts to deliver innovative programs and services to clients in over forty countries.
